At Simple Sparrow Care Farm, everything we do is centered around our mission to help people Learn+Grow+Heal. We rely on our volunteer team to help run the care farm and maintain the Bird House as well as assist with events.

2024-2025 Volunteer Training

The very best outcomes are achieved when volunteers commit to a consistent schedule. Simple Sparrow gives scheduling preference to long-term volunteers who can meet this commitment. 

All volunteers must be able to pass a background check and have the ability to work independently.

Volunteer training at Simple Sparrow is a two-step process. The first step in attending our Orientation and Tour.  The second step is attending up to 4 consistent training sessions. Volunteers will be added to the schedule once they have completed the Orientation and Tour.

Ready to get started? Follow the link below to complete your volunteer application. For volunteers who are minors, we prefer applicants be at least 15 to volunteer independently. Applicants under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Join Simple Sparrow in making a difference! Is your organization seeking meaningful projects that align with Simple Sparrow’s mission? We welcome work groups of up to 25 individuals. Participants must be at least 15 years old with the exception of school or scout groups. Our diverse tasks include indoor and outdoor projects, occasional construction opportunities, and event preparation.
